Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grambling State University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
Before founding Cherry Law Firm, Anthony served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. In that role, he represented individuals facing serious criminal charges and developed a reputation for thorough preparation, strong advocacy, and practical results. His experience inside the courtroom—handling motions, negotiating with prosecutors, and preparing cases for trial—shapes the way he approaches every case today.
At Cherry Law Firm, Anthony represents individuals facing criminal and quasi-criminal charges in both Superior Court and Municipal Court. His clients often include first-time offenders, young adults, and professionals who are concerned about protecting their future, their reputation, and their freedom. He understands that for many clients, this is their first experience with the legal system—and he takes seriously the responsibility of guiding them through it with clarity and honesty.

Beyond his legal practice, Anthony is actively engaged in the community. He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. (Phi Upsilon Chapter) and serves as a Trustee at St. Stephen AME Zion Church in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He is also committed to legal education and community outreach, regularly participating in initiatives designed to inform individuals of their rights and responsibilities under the law.
